You wake up in a wilderness overrun by the rabid dead. By day the world is quiet enough to work in. Fell trees, break open ore deposits, loot what's left behind and craft the tools, weapons and clothing you need to stay alive. Build shelter piece by piece and keep a campfire going, because nightfall changes everything.
The infected hunt harder. They hit harder, move faster, spot you from farther away and keep coming in bigger numbers. And they don't reset in the morning. Every night you survive raises the threat, so today's shambling horde becomes tomorrow's pack of sprinters.
Zombie strength, speed, aggression and spawn rate scale with the time of day and with how many nights you've lasted.
Manage health, hunger, thirst and body temperature. Pack a thermometer and dress for the weather.
A full day/night cycle, a seasonal calendar, dynamic weather and snow in winter.
Harvest forests and ore rocks, craft from recipes and put together your own fortified base.
Character creation and a wardrobe of colour variants for clothing.
Team up with friends in co-op.
